Buy a pair · Give a pair · Proverbs 31:25

Leak-free, toxin-free, worry-free.

Reusable period underwear that holds up to 4 tampons of protection, so you can sleep through the night without a back-up pad. Every pair you buy sends one to a young woman in South Africa, along with a book about becoming a woman.

Why this matters

Imagine being unable to go to school because of one simple need.

For most US households, periods are a box at the grocery store. An inconvenience, not a barrier. For an estimated 7 million girls across South Africa, they're the quiet reason a school week ends on Monday. Pads cost more than many families earn in a day, so girls stay home, fall behind, and too often stop coming back.

Reusable underwear changes the math. One pair lasts up to two years and replaces hundreds of disposables she could never afford. That's why this works, and why every pair you buy is a pair she keeps for the years that matter most.

The Launch Lineup

Three styles, and every pair gives.

Buy one pair, we give one pair, plus an encouragement book on becoming a woman. No upsell, no opt-in, no fine print.

Every Pair Goes Somewhere

Every pair keeps her at her desk.

In South Africa, an estimated 7 million girls miss up to 5 days of school every month because they can't afford menstrual products. Reusable underwear changes that, month after month, year after year.

The Foundation's Clothed Kit

One kit. Two years of dignity.

The Clothed Kit is funded entirely by donations to the Foundation. Donor gifts build on top of the BOGO pair and encouragement book, covering everything one woman needs to manage her period with confidence, and to know she's worth more than the world tells her.

Practical

What she needs

4 pairs reusable period underwear, mesh laundry bag, water-resistant carry pouch, drawstring kit bag.

Keepsake

What she keeps

Custom-engraved Proverbs 31:25 necklace. A signature reminder of her worth, long after the kit.

Devotional

What she's told

A puberty + encouragement book on becoming a woman (included with every BOGO pair), a 30-day devotional, scripture cards, and a handwritten note from a US donor.

Education

What she knows

Menstrual health booklet in Zulu, Xhosa, English, or Afrikaans. Care instructions. Myths addressed.

How It Works

A US brand, a US foundation, and trusted partners on the ground.

The brand sources and sells. The Foundation, a US 501(c)(3), receives the donated pairs, accepts public gifts to scale the program, and hands every pair to Love Story, our on-the-ground partner in Port Elizabeth running 29 kitchens and 22 early learning centres across the Eastern Cape.

01

You buy or give

A pair purchased = a pair donated. A gift to the Foundation funds the rest of the kit.

02

We verify

OEKO-TEX certified, PFAS-tested. Independent US lab verification on every run.

03

We ship

Consolidated US-to-SA shipments via experienced freight forwarders with Africa expertise.

04

She receives

Trusted local partners hand-deliver the BOGO pair and encouragement book. Where donors fund it, she gets the full Clothed Kit, paired with menstrual health education in her language.

Wes, Candace, Isla, Imogen, and Ivy — the Heine family
Our Story

From West Palm Beach. Rooted in Africa.

Hi, we're Wes and Candace.

We're a South African family living in West Palm Beach, Florida. We have three girls. Isla and Imogen were both born in South Africa, and Ivy was born here in the USA. They keep our home loud and full.

We serve on staff at Journey Church, and we love it. Honestly. Pouring into our community here in America is what we wake up to every day. It's our calling. It's what we believe with our whole lives. Building the local church matters, and we wouldn't trade it for anything.

But Africa has never let us go. Wes grew up there. Candace was raised there too. She's an American missionary kid who knew Africa as home before she knew anywhere else. The need we both saw as kids hasn't faded. If anything it's gotten louder the longer we've been gone.

Having three daughters of our own has only made it heavier. Ours have everything they need. Warm beds, clean water, an education they're not afraid to attend. Girls their age across South Africa are missing school every month, using rags or newspaper, learning shame before they learn dignity.

We want our girls to grow up seeing that need. We want the people around us here in America to see it too. We want everyone to stop taking for granted what so much of the world doesn't have. We want our daughters to know that being blessed isn't the end of a story. It's the start of one.

Then Proverbs 31 stopped us. A woman who provides. Who opens her hands to the poor. Who is clothed with strength and dignity. We read it again and saw what we were being asked to do. Clothe other women in that same strength and dignity. Literally. That's where The Clothed Project comes from.

Our Values

Every decision begins with her.

Four commitments. Each begins with She is…, because that's where everything we do starts.

01

She is Clothed.

Every woman is treated as a daughter of God, draped in strength and dignity.

02

She is Known.

No woman is a number. Every recipient is seen, prayed for, named where appropriate.

03

She is Equipped.

We give only what we'd give our own daughters. Quality product, quality education.

04

She is Empowered.

Reusable products that last years, and education that travels with her. We build for the long term, not the one-time gift.

Why It Matters

This is who we're equipping.

A young woman in school, with underwear that lasts two years, a devotional that tells her she is clothed in strength and dignity, and a necklace she carries with her. Every Clothed Kit is built for her, funded by the Foundation, and delivered through trusted partners in South Africa.
